Migration questions

Before you cancel anything.

Does DocManFu replace every Evernote feature?

No. It is purpose-built for personal document storage rather than general note-taking, tasks, team collaboration, or web clipping. If your primary use is archiving PDFs, scans, statements, and records, that focus is an advantage.

Should I keep the ENEX export?

Yes. Preserve the original export as a backup until you have verified important notes and attachments in DocManFu. Caution is inexpensive; regret has premium pricing.

Can I run AI locally?

Yes. Configure Ollama to keep compatible AI analysis local, or disable AI entirely. OCR and search still work.

Your documents. Your rules.

Ready to master the paper pile?

One Docker Compose command puts a private, searchable document vault on hardware you control.
